Week: Fixing Problems with Printing Web Pages
|
All too often when printing a web page,
the right side of the page gets cut off. This is due to the
fact that most web pages are designed to be viewed on
screen, not on a printer. When viewing a page, first look
for a link to a printer friendly version of the page. It may
say something like "printer friendly version" or "format for
printing".
If the web page does not have a printer friendly version,
try switching your printer to landscape mode. In Internet
Explorer, you can do this by going to the File menu,
choosing Page Setup, and clicking on Landscape. In landscape
mode, the page is rotated by 90 degrees, giving you more
width.
